Re: Missouri Officially to SEC (finally)

So we are officially a 9 team league, with a 10th that wants to join immediately but might not be able to join for two years.

Does any of this spur 11th and 12th invites? BYU has no Big East strings. You could invite them for 10 and give Louisville the same position as WVU waiting for legal ties with Big East to go away.

Ha! Now time to laugh at them losing a lot and having to drive all that way every year. Lots of money for about the same revenue. LOL.

Re: Missouri Officially to SEC (finally)

TAMU at least has the resources to eventually compete in the SEC, though theyve been an underperformer compared to resources for 10 years now in the big 12. Mizzouri, however, does not have those same resources and will lose a lot more going into the SEC. Missouri fans will look back on this as the day they killed their football program.

ďI told you, I donít care if youíre black or white. I donít care if youíre rich or poor. I donít care where you come from, whether itís Texas, Florida, California, or right here in the state of Iowa, I donít care about any of thatÖ But what I did care about is moving forward from that day on, that we were one team." -Paul Rhoads

Re: Missouri Officially to SEC (finally)

I wonder what Gary Pinkel's opinions are on this? I know he has been outspoken on the unfair advantage he feels Texas has, but this is the guy who ran away from non-conference games with Iowa...
