    Somebody is looking for publicity

I don't profess to be able to rate talent, especially from a highlight clip so I won't judge. This one must be good to make it to Yahoo headlines: High-flying recruit throws down impressive self-assisting slam - Prep Rally - High School*Blog - Yahoo! Sports.

"Before anyone critiques Edwards' ability to get up -- and, if you watch the clip closely enough, you'll notice that he gets up at least 11.5 feet "

I'm not sure why they feel the need to exagerate in these things. There is no way he got up to 11.5 feet. Great dunk, just leave it at that.

Re: Somebody is looking for publicity

Watching that video doesn't convince me as a coach to recruit him. Athletic yes. Great player (from that) no. First of all, there was no defense played by that team in blue whatsoever. Second, terrible shooting form, awkward motion and very slow delivery. Not even sure why there is an article on this kid.

What does this have to do with ISU basketball?

Re: Somebody is looking for publicity

Ok I watched very closely. Dude barely leaves the ground when he dunks. Definitely not "at least 11.5 ft" c'mon yahoo you're better than this....

"Freddie knows the game," Bird said. "I'm sure he picked up a lot of stuff over the years from different people. College is different from the NBA, but I'm sure he'll do a great job."
