    Gotta Love the DMR!

    Headlines:

Iowa State Reverts to Old Ways in Road Loss

    Hawkeyes Lose Thriller

I think I'm going to cancel my subscription. I can't stand any of their writers, and toilet paper is just plain cheeper. Plus, I'll just check on-line if I really want to read something (not likely).

In their defense, we did revert back to the case of the dropsies.

I don't see why anyone would subscribe in the first place. Atleast 85-90 percent of the content is free online.

I can't remember the last time I've read the print version, years ago.

Actually, I agree with it. We blew an 11-point lead and lost to a previously winless team, without their offense taking the field. We definitely reverted to old ways. The Hawkeyes nearly beat a top-10 team on the road, losing late in the game; I didn't watch it, but I was in a chat room, and it did sound like a "thriller".

It's true. The Hawks were the team that improved this week, and ISU for some reason fell back to a week 2 type team. I don't think it's as much coaching for ISU as it was motivation. The team had no motivation to go to Toledo and play like they did against Iowa.

If ISU can play like they did the Hawks against every opponent, they'll have a decent season.

Hope they get some inspiration to play at Nebraska. Nebraska wants to win really big, becaus their confidence has been shaken.

    Re: Gotta Love the DMR!

i see what hes saying though. i watched the iowa game and listened to the isu game. i would say if either deserved the title "thriller" it was ours. the iowa game was rather boring.

i would also have to disagree with the "revert to old ways." i think CR said it best with the headline "Cyclones invent new way to lose" i agree with that, we lost a way that i dont remember us losing before. we nearly had to try to lose that game after taking the 11 pt lead, and we succeeded.

We subscribe for the coupons, that alone pays for it. Other than that, it is worthless.

I watched both and agree with the Register on this one. ISU blew it and Iowa nearly pulled it out.

Please. could you just go back to a hawk site a leave us alone. No motivation is just another way of saying Super Bowl. There were some good things that were done. The defense played fairly well in the second half, well enough for an easy win. The offense was much better, except for turnovers. The problems were special teams and problems that can be fixed. They are not due to personel. Go home Please!!!

Motivation? Give me a break. They had the win in hand and blew it through crappy special teams.

    Re: Gotta Love the DMR!

No offense but those are 2 pretty true headlines. We did revert to our old way of finding a way to lose. We had that game in the bag with 5 minutes left and had 2 BIG mistakes on special teams erase the lead very quickly.

Iowa played tough against Wisconsin and had some chances to win that game. Lot of dropped passes again. Their WR's need some stickum or something.

The Hawks lost to an overrated Badger team ! Neither team looked good on offense, and the game was rather boring.
