    Entrepreneurial Studies?

Anyone have a minor in this? How was it? What were the classes like?

    Re: Entrepreneurial Studies?

I have a minor in Entreprenuership (sp?). It was a pretty easy minor to get as I had already taken most of the courses needed for it. The only class that was a bit difficult was the one where you were supposed to write a 40-50 page business plan. Funny story about that class:

I had that specific professor for an earlier entrepenuership class, and his big thing was always networking. Well, it was a 3 hour night class, and he always used his breaks to go and have a smoke. So I took that time to go out and smoke with him and shoot the ****. Stuff like asking him if we'd get out in time to watch the bball game. This class was easy and I breezed through it with a B.

The class that we were supposed to write the business plan in, I decided 2 weeks in that my minor wasn't worth it, and I'd just take the F as I would still graduate that semester anyway, and I was out of drops. Well, he must have remembered me from his previous class, and me "networking" with him (aka smoking and shooting the ****). I didn't write the paper that was suposed to be 3/4 of the grade on only went to class for 2 weeks, and he passed me with a D so I still got my minor.

I am not doing anything with it, but it was something extra to put on the resume.

    Sorry for the long response.

Also, the logistic classes I took were pretty easy, but is something that just about anyone in business could use, and I actually liked those classes.

Thanks for the info, I'm pretty sure that I'm going to go for this (I'm a design major so I don't have a lot of business knowledge).

I graduated in 2007 and picked this minor up in the spring of 2006. It was a really easy minor, because I already took most of the classes.

Zing. But seriously, there is this one socially awkward girl in my class that is the oddest person I have ever met. every day she says "hi" in a weird voice to everyone before she even starts a conversation with anyone. And then she makes weird comments about everything, like you are paying attention to her every word. Also she is part of that club where they run around and play with fake swords and act like they are in another time period.

I have just started ignoring her as she annoys the crap out of me. I also avoid her like the plague.

Given the club, she may already have the plague.

I'm sure she was the only awkward one in that conversation.

I'm a very nice person, and I act like I'm listening to her, but I cannot do it. I'll just nod my head when she talks.

Is her name Sarah? I think she used to be a Biology major.

Nah different girl, but I'm sure there are more than a couple throughout Iowa State. Especially girls in the "smart" majors. They have the brains, but no social skills.

Social skills don't matter that much, but more importantly what is the yoga pants situation like?
