I took a look at KU's message boards...

I took a look at their "KU @ ISU prediction thread," and the people who post on there (besides a few faithful) were all giving the prediction of the score to be around 40something to less than 20 in favor of ISU. There were also tons of negative comments, i mean its hard to blame them....but...

I know that KU is mostly all about basketball because of their success, but when they were having football success a couple years back, the fans were behind them big time. Talk about a football fan base falling off...

Re: I took a look at KU's message boards...

At the end of the day, their players have to feel like this is a game they can win. I mean, a week ago, everyone on here wasn't sure about this game.

Now, we played GREAT at TT, but we still are their last realistic shot at a W. Because of that, I have every expectation that they will come out and play well.

If we play the way that this team is capable of, then we should have a great chance to win. But, you can't underestimate the power of desperation. We need to jump on them early, and keep their morale and confidence as low as it has been all year.

Re: I took a look at KU's message boards...

They have reason to be angry about where their team is. Gill has just buried that team, its clear that he has no idea what he's doing in trying to teach football skills, build team chemistry, or motivate his players. KU still owes him a ton of money, they'll probably have to let him coach the team next year before they fire him. He'll never coach again at another BCS school, he's that bad.

I'm so glad he didn't want to interview with us. So, so glad.

Reap what you sew. Mangino built a pretty good team there, then got run out of town for yelling at and poking a player for being a moron. Yeah, there were other things, but this was the big one that blew up. I remember a lot of people here clamoring for Gill too when we were looking. I think he needed a few more years at a lower level or he should have moved up to a coordinators position in a BCS league before the jump to head coach.

The same thing could have been said for us too. I think a couple more years of Chizik and wed have had some issues as well. He didn't have the passion for the school and we lucked out with Rhoads. I'm just not sure Gill has the passion for Kansas.

Not really sure whom this everyone is that you speak of. I've been sure about this game all season long.

We will trounce Kansas and be one win away from bowl eligibility.

Remember when Mangino ate 50 lbs of swiss cheese in under 15 minutes?

I went to college thinking I wanted a career; turns out I just wanted paychecks.

A clear conscience is usually the sign of a bad memory.

Relevant in early 60s, early 70s, early 80s. No ten year reign of power.
