    Oct 31st Call-In Shows Notes

For those of unable to listen to tonight's Cyclone Sideline Call-In Show, here are a few notes from Jamie Pollard's comments during the first 30 minutes:
    1. The ISU women X-country Big 12 champs will be honored at halftime this Saturday.
    2. Sold tickets for this Saturday's Kansas game stand at almost 48,000 with promotions underway to get it to 50K.
    3. Men's basketball season tickets are only 23 short of setting an all-time records (10,255)
    4. Advantages of the new football training facility: connection to indoor practice facility, expanded sports med, workout, and meeting rooms. Money spent on useful things, not frills.
    5. Pollard had breakfast with new President Leath during the A&M weekend. Found him easy to talk to and interested in athletics. Leath sent congrats notes to coaches following x-country chanpionship and football win so he is following ISU.
    6. Kansas State football and Michigan basketball games will be played at approximately same time. ISU has no control on this.
    7. Feels Missouri departure annoucement is only a matter of working out legal matters.
    8. ISU will host West Virginia and play at TCU in 2012. After that schedule may be reworked due to new team additions.
    That's all I got....anyone else add comments I missed.

Great set up.. much rather play @TCU than @WVA next year. I think we have a chance at being pretty darn good. Honestly, like 8-9 wins good.

    Thank you for the summary.
The radio is in another room outside of my office and I could have sworn that Jamie said something about 12 ............ TWELVE teams in the league. Did I hear this correctly or did I have an audio hiccup??

He said that, but I think it was an honest mispeak....because Walters corrected him right away.

    Thank you Gold.
I was pretty sure I had heard that, but not John's response.
    Appreciate it.

So it will be West Virginia taking Mizzou's sched and TCU taking A & M's more than likely.
