Is Wally the best defensive coordinator in the country?

He has to be way up there. Let's face it, we don't have much talent on defense. To make Iowa State into a defensive force in only the the third year is nothing short of amazing.

Slow down there champ. Yeah, we're playing well tonight against TTech. Did you see the Texas/Baylor/Mizzou/aTm games though. Still a long way to go.

No kidding. Just last week people were questioning whether Wally was the right guy to be coaching at ISU...

Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice?
Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.

My how a half changes everything. Well that and the offense playing with their heads exorectal.

Amaising what Wally and the d can do when they aren't completely gassed.

I never wavered on Wally. Wally is pretty good. Its not his fault that the d has done some fairly destructive mental things too. His coaching has been fine. The entire team Offense and Defense is not bad when they don't self destruct. The coaches have given them the tools to do good things. The have just litterally and figuratively dropped the ball too often.

Re: Is Wally the best defensive coordinator in the country?

i dios mio. Has Mizzou stopped scoring against us?

The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It has been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game: it's a part of our past, Ray. It reminds of us of all that once was good and it could be again. Oh... people will come Ray. People will most definitely come.

    Last few weeks...

Get rid of Tom Herman! How many years should Rhoads take to turn it around?

    Tonight...

Is Wally the best defensive coordinator in the country?

    Bipolar is spot on.

(Yes, Wally is good at his job.)
