    The All-Underachieving Team

Philip Rivers, Chris Johnson headline top underachievers so far this year - Don Banks - SI.com

Interesting choices. Hard to argue with some of them. Chris Johnson has basically disappeared, this year. After all his holdout drama, he can't be too popular with team management.

Rivers has absolutely flamed out this year.

I like to call my fantasy team "Team Hamstring". Pretty much every player I have has missed games with hamstring injuries. It is getting ridiculous.

Julio Jones, Daniel Thomas, Andre Johnson, all hamstrings. Antonio Gates (foot), Vincent Jackson (abdominal), Ryan Mathews (calf), Earnest Graham (torn achilles), LaGarette Blount (knee), and Matt Ryan (knee).

Seriously... why do I even try?

There is speculation that Rivers might be hurt. I hope that's the case and he heals quickly. He has looked horrible this year.

Kenny Brit, Felix Jones, Steven Jackson, Jamaal Charles, Marques Colston, and Andre Johnson over here. Oh yeah, Nate Kaeding. I feel your pain.

Completely disagree with Suh being on this list. He is not having a monster statistical year liek last year, but 3 sack puts him on pace for 9 by seasons end. that is pretty good for an interior lineman on defense. And it has to be frustrating for him. He is basically being held, clipped or chopped every play, and the refs seem to think it is okay because he is a horse. He has shown frustration at the media, and I think it has been justified.

Ryan Matthews? Was he expected to do that well? It's not like he really set the bar very high, last year.

And he has had a pretty solid year considering what he did last year (although he was hurt)

I have Julio Jones, Gates, Jackson, and Mathews on my team too. I also have Mendenhall who has had one good game all season. I'm someone have gone though 4-3 thanks to Aaron Rodgers and the Ravens defense.

And yes I realize no one on here cares at all about my fantasy team.

    Re: The All-Underachieving Team

I'm surprised to see Kolb on the list. Not that I think he's been playing well or anything, but he had done nothing in the past for this year to be "underachieving".

Kolb is the most overrated NFL player in my book.

    I had Kenny Britt.

I was looking at the waivers for a FA wide receiver pickup, and Britt is STILL one of the highest scoring WR's available. He got hurt in like the 1st quarter of week 3. If I still had him (considering I have Rodgers and Forte), I'd be unstoppable.

yeah, he'll probably beat last year's numbers. Might hit a thousand yards. He's top 15-20 in the league in most rushing categories other than scoring. Mike Tolbert takes away a lot of his red zone touches.
