    Nebraska Sports Talk Radio

    I listen to sports talk radio all day while working, silence or music radio both put me to sleep. Problem is I only get Omaha stations so for 6 hours a day I'm forcefed Nebraska football 365 days a year because its a year round sport in the drive by state. This week I've been treated to mind numbing analysis of the upcoming Mich st game and a weekly special Taylor M talk... Today I was treated to an hour long discussion on what if Tom Osborne would have coached Michigan state? My favorite is the couple a times a week Tommy Fraizzzza comes on. He knows his stuff but seems to want to murder the host, it reminds me of a Dave Chapelle skit if u know what I mean. The hosts are actually pretty good and funny. Oh and Nodomikan Suh (sp) is their Senecca Wallace, literally every 3rd word. Also frequent mention of Creighton hoops including a call in show but no so much of a mention of husker hoops.

    Anyone else forced to listen to radio in a market of a team you hate?

    If you work from an office, you should check out www.810whb.com out of KC. They always talk Big XII and frequently Iowa State.

    Can't you stream and listen to other areas of the country?

    I work in a tractor, sometimes I flip over and I can hear the faint staticy voice of CPR other times just static.

    Not anymore. Stopped listening to sports talk in Des Moines - too many sHAWK-Jocks on both 1460 and 1700. Now I listen to KFAN (Minneapolis) on iHeartradio on my cell phone. If I want ISU news I go to CF first - that's where the Des Moines radio hosts get their news on the Cyclones.

    Forced to listen to it? Haven't you ever considered listening to a music or news station if it pains you that much?

    Edit: Okay, I reread and music puts you to sleep. You could listen to a news station.
