Normal fitted hats for big heads

Hey fanatics, I am in need of an answer regarding fitted caps for men with large heads. I'm looking for either NCAA or MLB caps that are fitted and don't have that stupid flat bill, either. Just a normal fitted hat, size 7 7/8 or 8. Cyclones and Cardinals obviously preferred. I have had a hell of a time finding either of these. I currently own an Iowa State one, which is solid red, with the I-State logo on the front, and a gold Nike swoosh on the back, and I love it, but I can't find anything else like it. Similarly, all of the fitted MLB caps I find are those stupid flat-billed ones. Help me CF'ers!

You can't bend the bill yourself?

I have the same problem, and consequently have the same hat as you mentioned. My parents got it for me at Cy's Lockerroom. So I have officially contributed zero useful information to this thread. You're welcome.

I took day-long seminar at the airport Holiday Inn a few years back on the art of ballcap bill-bending and have had pretty good results doing it on my own.

I think it ran me $50 and lunch was provided.

    Well worth it.

Re: Normal fitted hats for big heads

I think what he's saying is all of the MLB fitted hats that come in big sizes have the huge vertical front on them where the logo goes. Example:
    .

What he's probably looking for is a hat with a curved front that fits the shape of the forehead like this:

    See the difference?

I have a giant noggin and I have had the same problem. I'm around a 7 5/8 to 7 7/8 and rarely find a fitted hat that isn't made to worn with a flat bill like the top example. Stretchy one-size-fits-all hats never fit b/c they're too small.

Re: Normal fitted hats for big heads

I have a big head as well, and the only hats I wear anymore are Zephyr stretchfit hats. I think their website is zhats.com. I just got a cardinal n gold isu hat with one section of the front is plaid at t gThe laxy. I got a green st pattys day isu hat at scheels several years ago.
The stretchfit comes in sizes, so more than likely will fit, not a one size fits all like some hats.

I have the same problem of finding real fitted hats. Not stretch and not flat billed hats. What I have found is that they just do not make them anymore which really sucks.

Go to Zephyr. Lots of cool choices, and I found one to fit my ginormous melon.

What the heck? I just looked up hats on New Era's website and Iowa State is not even an option in the dropdown menu of colleges.

This is exactly what I mean. The flat-billed hats tend to have an almost circular area for the head to go. Whereas the ones with the curved bills then to have a more spherical area. That's the only way my enormous melon will fit inside of a hat, which is why I hate the flat-billed ones.

Got to be honest, these Zephyr hats look really dumb. Nick XL hats do not fit my head. I am not looking for the stretch-fit kind, I'm looking for fitted hats. Depending on the manufacturer, size 7 7/8 or size 8 hats are what I need.

Can you also not find any fitteds, or do you prefer the stretch-fits?

Thanks, but looks like they only go up to 7 3/4.

Anyway, thanks a lot for the input, I'll probably try Cy's Locker Room.
