    I'm All In!

    Yep, I'm all In.
Win or lose I'm hanging with coach Rhoads, the coaching staff and all the players.
Yes, I know we have a four game losing streak, but when I became a CYCLONE it was a commitment to ISU. Commitment means you abandon all other options.
We are the average, middle class, now maybe upper middle class school.
We are "David taking on Goliath", not "chucky kicking the cripples".
Oh yea and all those who have invested in the program (season tickets), I bought my first season tickets back in 1972, so I'm really invested in the CYCLONES.
We drive in from Sioux City for all home games, and will continue.
Oh and we stay till the end, the players can't leave when the going gets bad so neither do we.
We all got spoiled because CPR took us to a bowl game and a victory in his first year.
We are headed in the right direction; it may be a long journey though.
It takes the same amount of energy to be positive as it does to be negative.
I choose to be positive and be a positive CYCLONE FANATIC.
Hawk fans back the IOWA and their coaches win or tie! (remember there is no tie)
Real Cyclone fans are "ALL IN, ALL SEASON,ALWAYS!"

Thank you for bringing some sanity to a board where some extremists are calling for a great head coach to be canned. GO STATE!

    Re: I'm All In!

I agree totally! I have been so irritated by this board the last couple weeks. We go from people thinking we should be top 25 after the first 3 wins to, people asking how long CPR has before he gets tossed. I understand that people are upset at losing but this really goes to show that coaches need time to build programs. CPR is prolly the best coach out there that we could possibly have right now and have the ability to keep when the program is winning. He knows what it takes to win here and knows how its done. Let these coaches do there jobs and us(the fans) do ours by supporting the teams they put on the field.

    Re: I'm All In!

You my friend sound like me !! We love the cyclones and paid to bring 7 kids who play jr high and jr league football Yesterday .. Many of which assumed they were Hawk fans (before heehee) ,but parents came to me today to say we have no Iowa posters left in boys rooms they are all cyclones now(We stopped to get cyclone football and basketball posters to replace old Hawk ones HEEHEe) !! lol I took them down to spirit walk to get high 5 players and we got necklaces , twister towels , and we tailgated all day .. We played some touch football before an after the game .. We made sure every kid had a jersey (ISU jersey) to wear .Its a family affair and I am all in ! I leave sore from games cause I give it all yelling and cheering and stressing :) I love game day at Jack Trice and love most cyclone fans !! But I respect this team and coach Rhoads who give all they have and love it as much actually more than we do!!I am ready to take the next step up ,but until then I remain in my seat 30mins before game until the last player leaves the field !No Regrets love me some Cyclone Football !!

    Good post.

I'll never quit on my team, the players or the coach. I'll always show them respect, as they chose to play for or coach my favorite team.

    Re: I'm All In!

I really wish the Big12 still had 12 schools and we didn't have to play the hardest schedule in the nation every year. CPR already had his work cut out with him as it was. Hes getting us there, just wait until HIS players are upperclassmen. We have depth and young talent, we just need them to keep maturing. I have a good feeling about this team when these last two classes will be juniors and seniors.

    Re: I'm All In!

Holy Cow!!! We have some sanity on CF for once after a loss. I don't even come to this site after a loss because all the crybabies are out in force. I come here and see this thread and LOVE IT!!!!

I'll be in JTS an hour early and stay in my seat yelling my support until that last seconds go off the clock.

Thanks to all of you for your positive support .
Thought I'd get a face palm for sure.
Yep that me also, been true since 72.
Son a graduate 2005, we hardly ever miss , if we do we donate our tickets to ISU fans only.
One fan had gone to ISU 4 years never had the cash to go to any ISU sports , so we donated a pair of tickets to him last year, was blwon away by the game.
Gave me some deep emotional happiness to have someone finally experience a ISU win.
Thats what I thought Cyclone Fanatics was all about sharing the LOVE for our CHOSEN school, our coach CPR, some of the best over achiever players.
Walk-ons like JESSE SMITH, Williams , O'Connel, what a great University.

Doesn't take alot of courage to criticize the coahes and players from behind an avatar.
The players and coaches perform in front of a crowd of 50,000 plus critics, filled with beer, beef, beer, beans, beer and a large dose of hind sight.

    Go CYCLONES.
