    Amazon Prime

    Anyone else use it?

After looking back at my purchase history I determined that it made a lot of sense. With the free shipping I find myself buying things on Amazon that I would never consider. Perfect example, when I got home today I had a smoke detector yelling "change your battery" so my wife stopped at QT and bought 1 9V battery and it cost $7! I get on Amazon and I can buy 4 Energizer for $10 and they'll be here on Thursday for no cost.

I think some are getting a little ahead of themselves. So far CPR has done a pretty good job for his first year. If we win 3 games this year will everyone feel the same way? I hope we go undefeated and CPR has a ton of job offers but I'd like to give him a few years at the helm before I decide how great of coach he is.

Amazon prime is dangerous. So easy to order stuff on there with the free 2 day shipping. (or for just a couple bucks, get it in one day).

    Re: Amazon Prime

I have used it for the past year and it is great to use, plus you can use 'Subscribe & Save' along with Prime/Amazon Mom and get 30% off of things too...

For parents out there, using those can save big on diapers, etc..

I absolutely love it. You can't beat free two day shipping and $4 overnight shipping.

The streaming video selections aren't there yet but it's getting better all the time.

    Re: Amazon Prime

Last year it was free for any college student (don't know if it still is). I loved that thing. As long as you don't need something immediately, it is almost always cheaper to order and get it the next day.

Greatest thing known to man. I've used it since it was first offered. You get free streaming video also.

    Re: Amazon Prime

I freaking love it. Well worth the money. I just bought Huy Fong Sriracha hot sauce a couple days ago. It's awesome not to have the $25 min purchase for free shipping.

    Re: Amazon Prime

Have it and it's great, especially around the holidays (free shipping + no tax + low prices = win). Plus even big/weird items ship for free. I ordered a snow shovel for my parents off of there with free shipping. It's great.

I've had it for the last year and love it. I'll definitely be renewing again. Haven't used the streaming...maybe when they get more of a selection.

I have it and love it also. The on-demand video service is not nearly as comprehensive as iTunes but it's growing (and free). Also works on tablets.

And for those that are going to buy baby/kid items you can get Prime for FREE!

Sign up for Amazon Mom for free & then w/ each purchase of baby/kid items it gets extended... I figured out we saved in the neighborhood of $450 in diapers w/ our first one.
