    Kansas State is impressive

Anyone watch their game against Tech last night? Their defense is smothering and their D-line was in the backfield almost every play. Where did these guys come from? They've been recruiting at a similar level as us for several years now and all the sudden they've got monsters at D-line.

I know they have a lot of transfers in their 2 deeps but still, Snyder is a magician.

I don't expect them to beat OSU or Oklahoma but they are easily in the second tier of the Big 12 this season.

    Kansas wears Adidas.

It wouldn't shock me to see K-State go 10-2 and be in the Cotton Bowl...Snyder does it again

I can't wait until Synder is gone. I seriously believe he is the only person who can win out there.

Wish we could recruit talent and coach like that -- Prince had them rock bottom.

JUCO recruiting. Snyder takes advantage of all the JUCOs in Kansas and doesn't mind gambling.

Rhoads is obviously trying to build for the long term and that means taking some lumps hoping that years 4 and 5 will yield some success. It sucks for us fans but building a foundation in FBS really stinks.

What troubles me most is that KSU is clearly coached quite well and seem properly prepared and motivated, which we clearly are not.

QFT, there is some major JUCO talent in the state of Kansas. IIRC, that's how he built a power in the 90's as well.
