Nebraska Game broadcast online at CloneZone?

Anyone know? If so, this months subscription would be a good deal...

The only thing i can think of is if someone owns the right to the game and wont let ISU broadcast them. Fox owned the rights to the ISU/UNI game=, but wouldnt let Mediacom show it. WHo the hell knows though. I'd pay a lot more than $8.95 a month to be able to watch every single away game. Thanks Big XII tv contract!

Fox is also fighting with Cox. They want big money for BTN since they paid for half of it. Hope it bombs as it is keeping our games in the dungeon. Red fans are irate.

Go to a hotel in Omaha and watch it on TV...actually if you get close to Omaha you can probably get it. I believe all are broadcast on local TV.

How? Do the Huskers have their own TV network or something?

Nebraska's website is controlled by XOS Technologies, which was the hold up on the Toledo game originally (XOS didn't control theirs). So, it's possible. But since its a Nebraska home game, it will ultimately be up to them.

It will be up to the Big 12 and Fox, not Nebraska. Nebraska really has no say in the matter whatsoever.

Toledo's website is XOS, but the Big 12 still had to sign off on ISU getting the feed (for some stupid reason).

I was making the assumption that the Big 12 and Fox signed off on the deal. Once they sign off, it's up to Nebreska to either have the webcast or to not have it. ISU cannot elect to have it on it's own.

Which, by the way, I don't see Fox or the conference doing. The 1:05 start time is right in the middle of Fox Sports broadcast window, is it not?

Re: Nebraska Game broadcast online at CloneZone?

Fox still owns the rights even though the game isn't televised. Fox wouldn't let Mediacom show the Kent State game, but they green-lighted the webcast.

The 1:05 kickoff time indicates no PPV telecast. I'm not sure there's even a way for a conference game to be webcast. I have to believe it would take a monetary agreement between the Big 12, Fox, and both participating schools -- basically, the schools would probably have to buy the rights for the game from Fox, and would then not get any TV appearance money, so it's a financial lose-lose.

There is no PPV for ISU/NE to my knowledge.. They will have a $29 PPV of Ball State however. I think it will be total darkness for the game at 1:30. Need pics from cell phones.

Nebraska Home games are advertised as pay per view on the Cox cable in the Council Bluffs service area, (omaha too) I believe I heard channel 61 for this weeks NU game. The sports bars at the casinos could be fun for next weeks game. It would just suck to sit beside a Joe Husker at one of these places. I will listen to it in my garage with Joe 6 pack, he is always on my side.

Ok, I asked Jamie on this one. He basically said that its not on fox/espn/abc and Nebraska has not elected PPV so we are out. The rights are not cleared for the clone zone. I am not sure why nebraska isn't doing PPV(since they sell out anyway) except that maybe they dont want to screw their fans 2 weeks in a row with PPV.

So.... if Fox/ESPN(1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8(The Ocho))/ABC, etc. don't want it, is PPV the only other option? Why would Nebraska say no to that? Or do they have something else in mind?

I don't understand why they would make Ball State available on TV and leave out a CONFERENCE game.
