    Nebraska new MBB/WBB/WR training facility

    This thing is quite impressive. Kinda makes you think of how new and modern the SBC is in West Ames was 2 years ago and it is already outdated. "Keeping up with the Jonses" is getting a whole lot harder with respect to the facility (arms) race.

    Pretty impressive. I remember warming up for state wrestling in the basement of Devaney 15 years ago, where their wrestling room was then, and it was less than impressive looking back. Of course at the time, we thought it was awesome.

    A ton of cash thrown at that place. I don't get why there are TVs EVERYWHERE. It looked like there were TVs at the base of every locker? I don't really get that.

    I have driven by this a couple of times. It's nice that the elevated roadway intersection, which they call the "Big X" around here, gives you a nice view of the roof of the new complex, depending on which way you're driving. It's nice that I don't have to witness its presence on the rout I take home from work.

    I've often wondered why they built this new faclity next to the Devany Center when the BB and VB teams will be moving to the new Arena in a couple years.

    That's what happens when you join a conference that has its own TV network. You become obsessed with TV.

    Those are iPads. Each locker has one so that when the athletes are there they can check emails, watch film, recieve and send messages to coaches. Suh donated a whole bunch of money last year to get this done at the football facility and it has worked well there so they incorporated it with the MBB/WBB teams.

    I don't know how you can say it makes ours look outdated... they look pretty similar, outside of the pointless TVs all over the place
