Well, apparently at least 1/10 of the team is hurting....

Re: Things are tense in Squawkeye Land!

"Senior running back Albert Young said it's way too early to panic. He explained last season as a case of Iowa not coming together as a team, and the 2005 season was more so a fluke because the Hawkeyes lost some close games they probably should have won."

    Excuses, excuses....

Re: Things are tense in Squawkeye Land!

I have been trying to head an effort to get a new word added to the English language:

    "Hawkscuse"

It just kinda rolls off the tongue, and simplifies the explanations, for when you are with someone who is unfamiliar with hawkeye football and their fan-bases antics.

That is a hilarious article. KF even says his players don't know right from left. Wow, I guess the Hawk players are even stupider than I though.

A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player.

I would add one for Hawkscuse but the smiley would have to be so darn big to encompass of all the excuses that it just wouldn't be practicle.

Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.
