Re: Tirrell Rennie over Steele Jantz?

Call me crazy but I could see Barnett beating Rennie out for second string.

Re: Tirrell Rennie over Steele Jantz?

No fricken way, you have to throw the ball in the B12, has anyone noticed that. Tirrell Rennie is a JT clone. JT is a fast guy who cant throw the ball against B12 defenses, same as Rennie. AS for a receiver, I can see that. The UNI game would have been interesting if Rump would have been in there, would have made the entire D better, just like Hicks would have helped the O.

Re: Tirrell Rennie over Steele Jantz?

Eh, Rennie is a good player.

It is interesting, though, that he is nothing at all like any UNI QB before him, at least since they became a premier fcs program.

UNI has always been more of a pro style team, and the qbs they have had over the years matched that philosophy.

It is interesting that they have made this switch, and did it all at once with Rennie. I wonder what their next qbs look like, and if they are going to continue to play this way, or go back to the way they played for almost 30 years.

UNI is really good this year, I wonder what they will do to screw up and lose come playoff time.
