No, but if Iowa was recruiting him he would surely be recruited by another Big 10 team.

Nope. Doesn't think he would fit their system.

Re: Tirrell Rennie over Steele Jantz?

I think that he'd make a good slot WR and Wildcat QB. Starting QB? No way. We'd see 9 man fronts every game.

Re: Tirrell Rennie over Steele Jantz?

To add a twist to this thread it seems like the concensus is that Rennie wouldn't make it at Iowa State but what if we hired their offensive coordinator? UNI's offense is so diverse in what they do it is very difficult for other teams to stop because they do so many things.

only after Rennie witnessed 2 Iowa players beating the **** out of each other in the locker room.

I suggest we all email Jamie Pollard and express our displeasure that CPR did not recruit Rennie.

Before we can do that, we must figure out if he's disciplined or undisciplined though. Then express our utter displeasure.

Re: Tirrell Rennie over Steele Jantz?

I don't think Rennie could start for either Iowa or ISU at QB but he could at least be a backup QB at ISU and be used in some wildcat plays. He doesn't fit the Iowa system at all though.

Now if we're just talking talent alone without regard for position, he could play for either Iowa or ISU. He'd make a good slot receiver/deep threat guy.

Garmin is really on to something.

I know when I think about what Rennie brings to the table, he's right up there with Landry Jones, RGIII, Weeden and Tanehill .

    Garmin is clearly a genius.

Re: Tirrell Rennie over Steele Jantz?

Rennie is a good enough athlete to play for ISU, just maybe not a QB.
