Overturned Reviews over the past few years

Does anyone else feel that the number of overturned reviews the past 2 years has increased a lot? I'm not just talking about ISU, but the NCAA in general.

When the review system was first added the video evidence had to be indisputable to be overturned. Granted that's still the rule, but in the beginning they followed that really well i thought. It felt like there had to be NO QUESTION at all in the video evidence that the on field call was wrong.

Feels like now, the refs call something on the field, it gets reviewed, and if overturned at least 50% of the time. i dunno, maybe its the "poor me" cyclone fan talking, but it really feels like a lot more plays are overturned these days.

It does seem to me that the replay officials are taking a lot of artistic liscence when reviewing calls. Also, the amount of worthlessly reviewd calls seems to be more and more as well. Most of the time you can see from the first replay that it was the correct call. That's really all there needs to be. It seems that sometimes, when they call a replay, it's almost like they think, "Well, we have to make this worth our while now." and then they look for any reasaon to overturn it. If you can see that it looks good from the first replay, then go with that. It's almost like fixing something that isn't broken. Replay should be there to help the game, but imo, it seems to me that it's starting to hurt it as much as it helps. It's really a momentum killer.

I see a lot of overturned calls in a lot of games that clearly do not meet the standard of indisputable video evidence. There was a really bad one in an Iowa/Indiana game a few years back that immediately sticks out.

There have been a lot more calls overturned without indisputable evidence this year. It's getting ridiculous.

I think the great majority of the calls reviewed in games I have watched over, say, the past 4-5 years have been the correct calls. It's just the blatantly bad overturns that stick out so much to me. I can't say with any objectivity whether ISU gets more overturns, because it's a sore subject right now with the officiating we have seen in these first few games.

I can honestly say that over the years that, in a given matchup, the ranked team or high profile team seems to get the calls, particularly at their home stadium. For th most part, this has worked against us over the years =(.

It seems that they are growing in number the last couple of years as games are routinely three and a half hours and sometimes 3:45 or even four hours now. It wasn't that long ago that a three-hour game was pretty much the standard. We now have a lot more commericials (big money, yea!) and more replay (terrible game pace, boo!).

There was no way that you could tell on that Woody run against Baylor that his butt landed before the ball crossed the plain. I'm sick of seeing every play reviewed it is so boring to have to wait hope that ref makes the right call. Especially at the game where you can't even watch the replay. What a stupid rule.

this one specifically stand out for me. Even the announcers said something to the effect that Money butt was blocking the best view and so therefore they didn't have indisputable evidence. granted on that drive, we scored on the next play. but we could have easily turned it over or gone 3 and out and had to settle for a FG.

Ah, yes. The infamous Indiana toe drag catch in the endzone with field turf beads flying and called a TD on the field.

Replay booth overturns the call. Iowa goes on to come back and win game. TD would have likely been nail in coffin to Hawks.

Indisputable doesn't mean indisputable anymore. It's more like if you are reasonably sure then go ahead and do it. Indisputable evidence should be obvious to anyone watching the replay, and it should not take 5+ minutes of review, if it takes that long to decide then it's not indisputable.
