Anyone else seen this yet? Family was out of town and I caught a showing Sunday. Holy crap what a good film.

It's good, not great. Develops slow but it does deliver. B+

    Re: Drive (film)

I enjoyed it overall, but it was different than what I expected. I did read about the violence before, and I'm not offended by violence in movies, but I thought it was a bit unneeded how far they went.

I'm a big Ryan Gosling fan and thought he was great.

    Re: Drive (film)

Uh, I have had trouble with this movie and figuring out if I liked it. In the previews, it looked like Gosslings character was completely different than what he was in the film and that has thrown me. I thought it was very good. I didn't say it was entertaining. That seems to be the part holding it up. I wasn't entertained but it was very well done. So I guess it's a B.

    Re: Drive (film)

I thought it was fantastic. Well done and it was a movie I hadn't seen it before if you know what I'm saying. It was uniquely done. And the soundtrack was unreal. I'd give it an A.
