    Coach Herman?

    At what point do we start to become concerned about this guy?
    It very well may be too soon. I don't know. I just know the offense has been our Achilles heel during the entire Rhoads tenure. And its been glaring.

    If things continue to not improve during the season I'm sure Rhoads will take a look at things after the year is over. I do expect him to be here though. I'm not a Herman hater. I actually like him and the offense he brought to ISU.

    I'm fine with Herman... We are seeing an offense that is capable and can move the ball. There are more plays being used this year with a one year QB than used in Hermans first two years with a 3 and 4 year QB (maybe combined). With the right QB, Herman has a great offense.

    Any good offense needs a good O-line. I feel like Jantz is running for his life about every other play. Doesn't matter who your offensive coordinator is if your O-line isn't that good.

    He is still learning, and could be a great OC. Just not yet. The Offense is so inconsistent you have to wonder why. The play calling is off IMO. Hopefully, he gets it straightened out this year.

    Yeah, Im certainly not ready to call for his head. However, I am beginning to get concerned.

    Jantz is still missing a lot of reads. I hope that he will get better and only use those scrambling abilities when there is truly nothing there. Right now he's missing what the defense is giving him a lot and then is forced into panic mode.

    Some of his play calls leave me wondering wtf but often his play calls are just brutally executed with errant passes or terrible blocking.

    Most do, oh wait as long as they have the right OL, WR, and RB to go with it.
