On the topic of horrible refs calls

Video: LSU’s punter is the first victim of the overbearing, touchdown-erasing taunting rule - Dr. Saturday - NCAAF*Blog - Yahoo! Sports

Check out what happen in the LSU Florida game. Compared to what Money did in UCONN this one was lame.

Whoever wanted this rule is dumb. It's a part of the game.

How about sliding into the back of the endzone with your hands in the air??? Oh, that's right, I guess that doesn't count as celebration/taunting.

I still don't get this type of penalty, it's a game, celebrate your victories.

It's taunting, not celebrating. Money should have been called. That punter, not so much.

Agreed. Money getting away with that might be our biggest call (non call) of the year. Of course it will be 1 of the 3 things all year that go our way when it comes to officiating.

Re: On the topic of horrible refs calls

That punter got jobbed. I've never seen a punter have that chance at a touchdown before. I don't expect to see it again. To have that one chance at that moment taken away for that mild celebration is really ridiculous.

Who else doesn't think that rule will be around next year. At least it didn't cost LSU the game.

I agree and it got Florida off the hook who looked stupid by dropping everybody back before seeing if the ball was kicked.
