    Thoughts from the Baylor game.

    1. Lets start of with this...our kicking game is PATHETIC. That's all i can say.

    2. I feel bad for Steele. He has played well (missed some throws), but he has gotten sacked many times because the pocket collapses so quickly. I know the line is dinged up, but they are scholarship players, Steele can scrame yes, but he can also only do so much. As i was typing this, Steele throws a pick, of course.

    3. 200+ yards to one player, 100+ to another. Yes, RGIII is very good, and shutting him down is not going to happen...but we can't give up nearly 400 rushing yards to anyone and expect to win.

    4. Our offense is playing decent overall, honestly. Yes they have went 3 and out too many times, but James White can run the ball effectively, and Reynolds is playing his best game. I know Baylors defense isn't their strong point, but our offense has put up the most points in regulation in this game.

    5. Jake Knott is playing his a** off. I think he has 17 or 18 tackles, but watch him play on defense, he's playing with his bum arm, not to mention he obviously is hurting from his shoulder injury suffered earlier in the game and is still playing.

    6. Penalties, wow. The refs have made some pretty bad calls, but this needs to be cleaned up ASAP.

    7. I honestly think we will beat Mizzou next week. No matter what happens, our team plays hard. I haven't seen them quit. We make many mistakes, but we play hard. You with think eventually we would start clicking with our effort, and Mizzou is very very beatable.

    Side note....the crowd randomly screaming was even loud over the TV. wtf?

    This team is more talented than that. We will win 6.

    Tom Herman is our biggest question mark.

    Grant Mahoney is the worst multi-year kicker in ISU history.

    Well, at least we executed that on-side kick perfectly.

    http://www.ncaapublications.com/prod...loads/FR12.pdf

    Offside
    ARTICLE 2. After the ball is ready for play, offside occurs (Rule 7-1-5) when
    a defensive player:
    a. Is in or beyond the neutral zone when the ball is legally snapped;
    b. Contacts an opponent beyond the neutral zone before the ball is snapped;
    c. Contacts the ball before it is snapped;
    d. Threatens an offensive lineman, causing an immediate reaction, before
    the ball is snapped (A.R. 7-1-3-V Note);
    e. Crosses the neutral zone and charges toward a Team A back (A.R. 7-1-
    5-III); or
    f. Is not behind his restraining line when the ball is legally free-kicked.
    Offside occurs when one or more players of the kicking team are not behind
    their restraining line when the ball is legally free-kicked (Exception: The kicker
    and holder are not offside when they are beyond their restraining line) (Rule
    6-1-2).

    Re: ***OFFICIAL ISU - Baylor Post-Game Thread

    The past two games haven't been as bad as ISU of old... but it seems like the refs just won't let them catch a break. Kansas and Texas Tech are the best shots at wins for ISU... hopefully can find another win.... I hope that they win at least one more...

    offense=sucks besides reynolds and white
    defense=ok but can get better
    kicking=worst ive ever seen(saying something since i'm a cyclone fan)

    winnable game next week...but CPR needs to have a team meeting and chew some people out...season isn't over but if this continues we'll only win 4 games...we're alot better than that

    I agree completely. Especially on the penalties. No matter how bad the refs are, we still have way too many obvious mis-cues.

    Never thought anybody would rival Yelk in that regard.

    I have a question about the Big12 commercials...Why does it seem ISU was the only school to not make an appearance in those commercials? aTm was even in them...
