    Robert Griffin III

I understand that RG3 has been putting up crazy numbers this year and this is only my second time watching him... but does Baylor ever attempt a pass over 6 yards? I was the sixth string quarterback on my 8th grade team... but i think i could complete 80% of my passes in 5 reciever sets on 5 yard routes... i'm just sayin...

He makes things happen with his legs. Extends plays, etc. He is an amazing talent. Period.

He threw several deep balls in the TCU game.

    Re: Robert Griffin III

I totally agree, this is really the first time watching RGIII, but it just seems like they run timing routes for 4-6 yards...maybe they open it deep late in the game, but so far I have since no indication they throw much stuff deep.

absolutely, and from the sounds of it a great kid in general... but i just feel like they are trying harder to protect his stats and not take chances

    Re: Robert Griffin III

Reminds me of a Seneca clone running around.... except he is way better, and that is saying something about his talent.

    Re: Robert Griffin III

we are kind of setting them up for the short passes, our secondary is playing very soft coverage. I think the gameplan is to let them make their own mistakes.

    Re: Robert Griffin III

He is tall, he throws screen passes to get the defense to man cover on the outside. Then he throws deep. It has been effective this season.

He makes plays for his team. Is a leader on and off the field. He is smart (already has his degree and working on a masters). He does what is needed of him.

He's taller, and slightly more accurate, but he's not as elusive as Seneca was.
