    I like this idea, but what happened to BYU?

    Are they waiting to see what happens with Missouri? They might wait too long.

    I think all these names are speculative. Didn't Chip Brown also report us going after Notre Dame?

    I think it is a no brainer and in some ways I would rather have WV than Mizzou. Obviously not all ways, but other than geographically it makes a lot of sense. Picking up an eastern school would ease the pain of losing Mizzou's big TV market.

    West Virginia = Mizzou in almost every area of athletics, TV revenue possibilities, etc...except for 2 negatives

    1. Academics
    2. Pretty far away geographically

    He called it two weeks ago, before anyone else, that TCU was getting an invite to the Big 12, the guy does have "some" credibility. I just don't think you add only WV, you need some regional opponents for them.

    I just figured that between WVU and Mizzou, one would be in the SEC and one in the Big 12 in the next year. That seems pretty logical. WVU isn't staying in the Big East. If Mizzou leaves for the SEC, they join the Big 12. If Mizzou stays, they join the Big East.
