HIGHLANDS RANCH, Colo. -- Senior Karly Pinder tied a school record with a 69 in the final round, helping the Iowa State women's golf team to a third-place finish at the 18-team Ron Moore Intercollegiate Tuesday. ISU carded a final round 291 to tie the team 18-hole school record, as the Cyclones shot a three-day 897 total, 11 strokes shy of first-place Denver at 886. Baylor was second at 895, just two strokes ahead of ISU. The Cyclones defeated conference rivals, Nebraska, Kansas, Kansas State, Colorado and Texas Tech in the tournament.
