Donovan McNabb crying to HBO sports..

Heard on KXNO at the top of the hour how McNabb says he has much more pressure on him because he is a black QB then his white counterparts. Goes on to say that noone wants a black QB to succeed and that makes it harder for them.

Give me a break you hack. Are you related to fellow retards Jesse Jackson or Sharpton. I can't believe he throws the race card because he couldn't pull of the win last night. Any respect for him is now officially gone.

Re: Donovan McNabb crying to HBO sports..

His problem isn't that he is a black quarterback, its that he is Philadelphia's quarterback. Until last year he had won more than Peyton Manning, yet was routinely boo'd while Manning was Indys hero. If he played in any other city besides Philly it would be totally different. They boo'd Barkley his whole career in Philly as well. Its just a terrible place to play regardless of your race.

Yup, Philly is rough man. They're almost as tough on their own players as they are on opposing teams.

Play well and you'll be fine. Make mistakes, they'll hate you. Play well again, they'll act like you were always loved by them...

Then again, that does describe most fanbases (see Shaggy at ISU)...Philly just takes it to an extreme.

I think you're right. I'd think about any athlete would be well advised to get the hell outta Philly if they're ever brought there.

On top of the fans and general atmosphere - I watched the game last night and McNabb pretty much SUCKED! Probably has something to do with it as well....

Donovan McNabb meet Rex Grossman. Rex, this is Donovan. Discuss how the media treats you. If you don't have any talking points, go talk to Kyle Boller.

Yeah, I Grossman, Harrington, Boller, Ramsey, and media darling Leaf might have a little something to say to Mr. McNabb.

Re: Donovan McNabb crying to HBO sports..

ESPN - McNabb tells HBO that black QBs criticized more - NFL

Brown then asks if the media is tougher on him than on white quarterbacks such as Carson Palmer and Peyton Manning.

"Let me start by saying I love those guys," McNabb tells HBO. "But they don't get criticized as much as we do. They don't."
Don't you think it's because they are playing at a much higher level than you? Give me a break.

Re: Donovan McNabb crying to HBO sports..

McNabb is quickly turning into a whiner. As Andy Reid has shown in the past, he doesn't tolerate whiners too long. Especially those not performing and/or being a distraction to the team.

Should McNabb go down this year for any period of time and Kolb looks decent/good - look for McNabb to truly be on the trading block (there were rumors this spring/summer, but seemed to be just rumors).
