    Very good interview with

Terry Bowden on Jim Rome today. He said he was going to throw his hat into the ring for head coaching jobs next year.

He all but said Charlie Weis is out of his league at Notre Dame. He could not understand the fact that they had no backup plan on the QB. Said they have known for 3 years now that Brady Quin was going to graduate and they did nothing about getting someone else. I loved it.

It will beinteresting with possible openings at Michigan, Tenn, and Possibly Arkansas where Bowden will end up going.

If Terry was such a great coach, which it seems he was based on his W/L record (111-53-2), why is he broadcasting?

Didn't he get in trouble somewhere? For some reason I think there were some issues with him.

That last year at Auburn took alot out of him, he got into broadcasting and pretty much said the combination of good money and low stress was just too good... I imagine he wants to get a couple of years in so he can walk into the FSU job.

was this the little twerp who was calling the Texas A&M game in 2005 on ABC? That guy was driving me nuts.... yes, Terry, go back to coaching and get out of the booth.

I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.

Was the interview so good that Jim Rome was forced to 'rack him'?

I didn't think anybody outside of NoCal, SoCal or Crapchester listened to his garbage.

Rome, also laid down some smack, on the hawkeyes, telling them to throw another coat of pink paint on the locker room after losing to Iowa State.

I always love listening to Rome smack the Hawks around after a loss. He hears the same crap they try shoveling us.

While I can't stand Jim Rome, personally, I love the fact that any chance he gets to rip on the good ol' Iowa Hawkeyes, he takes. And he does it with vengeance.

I don't see any way he gets any of those jobs. Maybe Arkansas but no way on the other two. He had 2 great years (while they were on probation) and three middle-tier bowls before starting 1-5 and quitting on his team in the middle of the season. I can't stand the guy because he's such a know-it-all with a really annoying voice.
