    New apartments on Lynn Avenue...

Anybody know who the property manager is for the new apartments on Lynn Avenue in Ames? My friends and I are interested in maybe moving in there for next year but it doesn't say who the property management company is going to be.

    Thanks!

Pretty sure it's the family that owns a lot of the houses in the area. So it's not a property management company. Can't remember the name though. (Buddies use to live at 319 lynn before tearing the house down)

Thankfully no. I prefer being close to campus/welch ave. And don't want to live at basically an, albeit a nicer, Freddy Court 2.0, minus not being owned by the university.

Are apartments dirt cheap these days? I remember in 06, it seemed like there were brand new apt buildings everywhere with no tenants.

Not that I know of. With record-breaking attendance the landlords have no shortage of potential tenants so I can't imagine that prices would be too low given the demand.

Re: New apartments on Lynn Avenue...

The landlords that own those apartments are terrible. I believe their names were Coady. It is an older couple that owns it all, and their daughter does most of the leg work. I rented from them for a year and have rented from numerous landlords both in ames and in other towns. They were easily the worst landlords I had and they made life hell. HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend steering clear....

Yep, this thread has just been pwned.

It's guys like Cytom that make me wonder if the grove is turning into Ames' newest cult group.
