    Found A Solid WR Recruit

Cedar Rapids Washington has a kid at WR named Flynn Heald. Very, very solid built kid, a little stockier than Lenz. Not afraid to go over the middle. In a game against Cedar Rapids Kennedy, he had 21 receptions for 293 yards. Had 9 receptions for 238 and 2 TD in the season opener against Cedar Rapids Prairie. Also plays safety, returns punts/kickoffs, and is the holder for the FG unit. Multi-faceted player. He isn't getting a lot of attention and I think that he'd be a great receiver in the slot. We may be letting one get away here if we don't give him some serious consideration. He also plays a little wildcat QB

    2011 Stats
    48 Receptions
752 yards (15.67 yards per catch)
    6 TD
    1 Rushing TD
    1 Interception
    5 KR, 163 yards (32.6 per return)
    5 PR, 43 yards (8.3 per return)

Those stats are incredible. I doubt he gets a scholly this year though since we have 2 receivers committed and the next one they're targeting is more of a speed guy. Would be an awesome get as a walkon if he doesnt get an offer. Just to add a disclaimer here, are you in any way related to or friends with this guy?

I am not related, or friends with Flynn. I have spoken to him several times though; I am a coach in the same conference (Mississippi Valley Conference) as CR Wash and have seen his production in person.
