Is it me or do more and more kids seem to be having hyphenated names?

Not neccessarily a good thing. This usually happens when there is no father in the home, and the kid takes his father's and mother's surname on. Don't know if that is the case for SDW, but this is a common reason why this occurs.

Not so fast my friend! More and more women are also keeping their last names when they get married. So the kids end up with a hyphenated name also.

Like I said, I don't know his particular situation. But I have seen this in other athletes, adn it was the result of broken homes, not what you mentioned. It could be a number of things, but this is just my spin, and a possible reason.
