Anyone else nervous about our size?

It looks like we'll play three guards which would give us a lineup of 6'2, 6'3, 6'3, 6'6, 6'8 with McGee, SC, Allen, Ejim, and White. I've read on here that White's actual height is in the 6'6-6'7 range. Booker doesn't sound like a banger. Ejim can board. Who knows how many minutes Railey will get. That's the only thing that worries me. I guess we'll have some matchup problems to our advantage too.

I'm not. You can't really go by anyone's roster anymore. We have athletes., and they can all shoot and run and jump with any of the other teams in the league. Size is not a worry for me.

If we play against a big team with very talented big men who really run a slow down game and are capable of doing that against us, then we may have some trouble. If we're able to dictate the pace, we will be fine.

Not at all. We have the strongest team we've seen since Floyd left. We have 4 guys that will play at 250# or more, and that doesn't include Ejim. We aren't going to get pushed around under the hoop anymore, and that is a lot more important than having a 7'0" stick or two.

Take a look at Missouri the last few years to see that you can have success running a small lineup.

I'm pretty sure there are zero teams on our schedule who that describes. Maybe even zero teams in the country. Maybe UCLA, Butler and Duke. I'll worry if we play any of those.

We lost JVB this year and will replace him with Booker and White. In other words, we got bigger - not smaller. I also think that Railey will get plenty of playing time.

I've never read anywhere that White is more like 6'6-6'7. I think you're confusing him with Marcus Fizer.

He is. Stand next to him in person, he's maybe, MAYBE 6'7.
