    What's Going on Now?

Coach tweets that he is starting a workout program himself - KOSAMA. I never heard of it but the website indicates its intense. Maybe it will make him more dynamic on the recruiting trail. Does recruiting start today? Do you think the high school prospects care about the conference realignment issue?

It depends. If you lose the Texas schools and want to recruit there, well, that would be a tough sell. On the other hand, if we combine with the Big East, other kids might relish playing against the Big East teams, assuming schools with good women's programs like UConn and Rutgers stay put. If I were a high school player, I would take a wait and see stance until these league changes settle down.

The early signing period starts November 9, 2011. I was thinking realignment would fall into place this week. May be not. If uncertainty persists for six weeks, it could be a factor. Fortunately, we've been set for 2012 for sometime - hopefully solid. But, it could be a factor for where coach spends his time for future classes.

I would be happily surprised if things fell into place in six weeks; the "falling" may take months because the sea change in college conferences is complicated by any number of actors, be they leagues or individual schools, whose next moves and motives are unknown and in flux. Maybe someone versed in chaos theory could figure it out--I sure can't.

BF on the recruiting trail - tweets from Plano. That's on the other side of Dallas from Duncanville. Is he likely looking at someone new or visiting Blaskowsky? It seems a little early to see anyone on the court.

Personal visit with committed kids might not be a bad idea with all of the conference relignment talk going on.

Even when they're here, they're committed:

    Brynn Williamson tweets:
I think a lot of our team commitment is a silent understanding that each one of us has poured our life into what were doin #cycloneWBB
