If Mizzou goes Big 10, that is bad news for ISU. KU and KSU are attached at the hip. That leaves ISU hanging out to dry.

The Big 12 office does not close.

That article talked about the remaining members getting the $100,000,000.

Yes, if Mizzou feels it has no other choice but to follow A&M to the SEC, that would be a good thing for our chances of being invited to the B10

To say this is getting serious is a major understatement.
I wonder how many Big 10 chips Jamie has to cash in from his days in Wisconsin? Time to cash them all in if he has them.

If there are enough votes to dissolve the conference, I suspect there would also be enough votes to waive exit fees.

And I think Iowa would be hard pressed not to try to at least appear to be on our side.the bad image they would get combined with the losses we could sustain wouldn't be good for them. HOK fans don't get it but most Hawkeyes and Iowans in general understand that the more opportunities for our kids to play BCS level sports the better. Cooler heads will prevail. We may not end up in the Big Ten but I think we will be ok with a combo Big 12/East.
