I don't think he played, although I'm not fully sure whether it's discipline or talent right now..

He's been playing on special teams. I thought maybe he was in on one of those diamond sets at one point, but could be wrong. Hard to tell a #9 from a #8 sometimes.

I know I saw a picture of him lined up in the diamond set. He was on the left side of Jantz.

Standard and Nealy are redshirting. Hollis is a redshirt freshman.

Hollis Redshirted last year, is currently listed at #4, on the depth chart, he had legal problems this summer and is still working his way out of the Doghouse I believe....

I saw that as well. He is listed on both participation sheets in the game notes, whether that is on special teams during UNI or not I'm not sure. Thought it was strange he was listed as #24 for UNI but #9 for Iowa.

I believe we have another 24 that plays on special teams, so Hollis changed his number so he could also play there.

    Re: duck hollis

SJ and JW were pretty effective against Iowa so I can understand Dunk not getting carries to this point.

I am hoping we can get out to a big lead against someone soon this season. Then we will have an opportunity to really pound it on the ground with all the RBs and hopefully see something from Duck.

I'd rather have every game be a heart-stopping triple overtime thriller, but maybe that's just me.

    Re: duck hollis

These duplicate numbers are a pain. I wish there was some way to avoid this.

For some reason I want to see this team tagged as the Cardiac Clones.

I believe that the other number 24 was Durrell Givens. I don't think that Duck has played at all, from what I've seen.

I think that Duck was wearing numbers 9 and 99 on the punt return team at different points during the UNI game. He changed to 9 officially before the Iowa game and was in that game as well.
