    John Deere Tractor Restoration Competition

    2011 Delo Tractor Restoration Competition

Hey guys, one of my coworkers son (Colton Petty, Decatur HS) is working on restoring a John Deere tractor. He has been working on this tractor restoration for the national FFA competition and has put in about $8,000 roughly of his own money and countless hours.

Now I know we are all voting machines, and I was curious if we could help him out. Click on the link above and vote for him please!

    Thanks!

Something must be up with the site. It was working earlier for me, but not now...

Re: John Deere Tractor Restoration Competition

My dad built a farmall F-20 out of two rusted out heaps. I remember bashing the rusted out secondary fuel cell (kerosine) so that it could be cleaned out and used as single cell gasoline tank. He has an electric start and a pto shaft- not bad for 1935.

This is not his, but I know the amount of work that goes into one to be parade ready, and his is that, but the amount of work that goes in to make it competition ready must be three times the amount what my dad put into his. Respect.

Re: John Deere Tractor Restoration Competition

The amount of time and effort this kid put in was pretty impressive.. He is still losing by a large margin, but its still the best tractor restoration IMO.
