    Dutch's PT on Saturday

I was soo overlly impressed with the amount of plays that plays that Dutch played on Saturday, 2 weeks removed from knee surgery, just amazing how much heart a lot of these players bring to the game... I know we played 5 kids at DL which definitely helps keep us fresh but this story is still amazing..... True leader, and I could see a possible future on Sunday's....

Dutch is the man. I wish there was a way to incorporate this song into game days for whenever he makes a big play.... [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=789hicMCwVU]The Black Keys - Do the Rump - YouTube[/ame]

We just need to get Rump through the UCONN game without aggravating that knee. The week off will do wonders for him and the rest of the dinged up players. 3-0, with a week of rest for a few of our best players players with nagging injuries (Dutch, KO, Darks, Reynolds, etc.) would be fantastic.

Darks has a nagging injury? I thought he was just suspended for UNI.

Maybe Simon and Caspers can finally get up to speed and add a couple more bodies for this game, I think it would go a long way toward stability on the DL through the season....

He's been injured for the better part of three years.

This. One more game, and then he can rest it up. I understand that Simon will ready for the Texas game, but I'd love to have all of our current D-Line healthy so that Simon can ease his way into play.

Saw it posted awhile back. I'll try to find it.

Edit: I'm pretty sure I saw it on Twitter, not on here. I'll talk to my source and see if I can find anything out.

If true, I am very optimistic for the rest of the season, if a guy that showed up on campus a week before opener is already game ready by week 5, that definitely shouts 'Tuba' to me......

I'm not even worried about him making a 'Tuba' impact. I'd just love for him to come in and be a solid DT that we can rotate in without much drop off just to give our guys a rest.

I knew I saw it somewhere. Bobby Le Gesse (sp?) tweeted this article last week. It says the coaching staff is targeting Texas.

Go Cyclones - Texas target date for Simon

Good news from the article accept for one glaring typo, 'he is still learning the offense'?
