    Old Chicago and ISU fans!

As I was walking in Old Chicago in Davenport for the game wearing my Cyclone jersey, the hostess said, "sorry, there aren't any tables for your kind here." Ironically, I look up at the TV screen to see Farniok's bad snap. She laughed, and then looked at me with concern. I don't think she realized I was more concerned with the fumble that just took place than her comment, but she immediately apologized and said she was just kidding. She asked if I'd like a table or sit at the bar. I then told her, "well, now it depends if this place is about customer service or customer disservice." Then I winked and found a table right between two Hawkeye tables.

The best part of the day ended up being the crowd support at Old Chicago though. There was an Illinois fan wearing his colors (and one wearing an ISU shirt - my dad), a Wisconsin fan and then a number of Cyclone fans who showed up a little later. We were served by a Michigan fan behind the bar and by the end of the game we could all come together to hate the Hawkeyes together.

Anyway, my waitress was GREAT, the Bar Tender was a moron but the Beer selection was supperb. I'd watch a game there over Buffalo Wild Wings any day. Also the Beach House Pub and Grill event in the Quad Cities packed the house. I couldn't even get a place to sit or stand so I'm sure it was a great event for all the QC Cyclones!

Buffalo Wild Wings is too neutral with their choice of sports memorabilia on the wall. For each town they are in they need to do a little research and find out who the majority of fans that live in that town are. College towns are a given.

The one in Ames is LAME!!!! one ISU jersey on the wall, a budweiser lamp I think, and maybe maybe a flag. In freakin AMES! There is just as much north polk high school football on the wall as there is Iowa State stuff.

    I WAS THERE!!!!!!

That OC in Bettendorf (it's technically not Davenport by 1/4 mile) has got to be one of the best in the chain. The people that work there are good, friendly, personable. The "crap" they give customers **** team choice is the same crap that your friend would give you. I don't know how many countless thousands of dollars I've dropped in that place, and on several occasions I've given greater than 50% tips.

Chuck Lidell: I paint my toenails with pink and black polish. Problem is, I get more paint on my toes and on the carpet than on my nails. Any advice?
Maria Sharapova: Don't you beat up other guys for a living? I don't know how to answer this.

There should be two BWW in every town. That way you can say, "Let's not go to that one, let's go to the good one."
