Pollard on Murph and Andy now

This could be interesting to see what they ask about realignment.

    Pollard:

Says like a coaching search, the less said the better.
Things change all the time (regarding rumours).
Working quietly, diligently, behind the scenes.
Anybody who knows how this is resolved is blowing smoke.

Pollard seems a little frustrated with the situation...

VERY frustrated. He isn't exactly instilling any confidence that the Big 12 will stay together.

Re: Pollard on Murph and Andy now

Conference realignment will be typical for the forseeable future.
Recruiting new members to B12 is at a stalemate now, stay tuned.
Thinks it's unfortunate that realignment is occurring simultaneously with athletics (vball, fball, etc).
Dodged question on replacing aTm, went back to chaos and that there is no control right now.
On staying in a BCS school: people will take pride in their institutions regardless, but obviously BCS is a better place to be. Money may be less, but you could also be viable. It would just be different.

That statement isn't doing much for my positive outlook on this situation.

Why waste so much time reading such a stupid letter? Let's talk ISU football.

That doesn't sound like a positive spin.

I don't like what's been posted here, but I think if Pollard knew we were screwed, or felt we were, he would have declined the interview.

In 1984, I was hospitalized for approaching perfection.

I agree, but it's better than him saying if we don't end up in a BCS conference, we're f*ed.

Re: Pollard on Murph and Andy now

    Back to instability talk:

GG and I are representing ISU and doing all that we can.
Nobody can tell you what, when, or how this is going to end.
Be patient, whatever is going to happen will happen.

"I'm not losing a lot of sleep over what's going to happen because a lot of it is out of your control"

Not talking about hypotheticals, when asked about Big East

On ISU not backing out of the possibility of suing aTm, that decision is on the GG level, but basically said it's premature to waive your rights until you know what the consequences are.

I'm glad he's being pretty quiet, maybe he's doing this so the bigger schools in the conference can get things sorted out.

Dang--the day before the Iowa game, and they can't ask about the series or the trophy?

    Paul Rhoads' players never quit.
    (They just disappear offseason)
