    Remember this guy?

I know for a fact you all do, but I just found it interesting that he was in these pictures on IGN for Madden 07 for the Xbox 360.

FYI, Madden is now released! Merry Maddenoliday!

The other day, Madden and Michaels were calling the Seattle preseason game and Madden said that if Seneca Wallace were allowed to be a kick returner (or maybe he said punt) he would be the best in the league. I think he said that Holmgren told him that. But that is a bold statement for a guy who is a #2 QB in the league.

Madden also loves Seneca as a QB. I remember watching a preseason game he did awhile back and all he did while Seneca was in the game was praise him about his arm and decision making.

Yeah, he certainly looks better than Eric Crouch. For that matter, so does SageR. Heard Eric is injured again up in CFL. If Bret goes pro, that would make ISU somewhat of a good school to be a qb trying to go to the pros.

BryceC, over the years, how many qbs went to the pros in some fashion from ISU? Maybe Flynn will make it also. And we had a converted qb play for the Jets/Dolphins also not too long ago. Amundson or Carlson ever go pro?

Other than the current Rosenfels, Wallace, and I assume Meyer, here are the others:

George Amundson, 1st round, 14th pick, Oilers, 1973.
Dean Carlson, 7th round, 23rd pick, Chiefs, 1972.
Tim Van Galder, 6th round, 8th pick, Cardinals, 1966.

He may have been picked up by the Falcons, but he wasn't drafted by them.

    Re: Remember this guy?

The 2006 Cyclone Media Guide, specifically page 164, says Alex Espinoza was with the Kansas City Chiefs in 1987. The criteria for being listed says they had to have participated in at least one game.

I remember Espinoza tooling around campus in his candy-apple red Corvette like it was yesterday... <sigh> Yeah, our program under Donnie Duncan was clean as a whistle... <wink, wink>

The media guide (page 161) also says QB Everett Kischer, an all-american in 1938, was drafted by the Bears.

David Archer did play in the pros to my recollection.
