    Aggie Mason Jar Thread

I notice that about every page in the Godzilla-thread there is someone asking for the Mason jar back story. It would unclutter that thread if the Mason jars had their own. I think isuaggie is the one who originally posted the story, so if he wants to throw that up in this thread, people would be able to just come here, figure out what it's all about, and discuss how ****ed up Aggies are.

If that is the case, maybe we should just have college station declared a biological disaster area and quarantine them. Although, I suppose 'the jar' would be a really good way for them to get out of the conference without anyone complaining, but if a news story broke about it, I doubt any conference would want them.
From a journal article studying the culture of Bonfire:

It was said that only women who had had sexual intercourse
with a Red Pot were allowed on, or even near, the stack.
By one account the Red Pots placed a jar containing their
mingled semen atop the stack just before it was ignited
    (Burka 2000).
Red Pots were the Corps member who lit Bonfire. Burka 2000, is an article from Texas Monthly, which I doubt would publish that account unless there were some truth to it.

    From Texas Monthly:

The redpot traditions exemplify RA culture. One is that no woman may set foot in a certain area of the stack site unless she has slept with a redpot; an Aggie who described herself as weighing 95 pounds wrote a letter to the student newspaper two years ago protesting that a redpot had shoved her when she breached the boundary to avoid a mud puddle. A wide-ranging witness statement given by a female member of the corps told how each group of redpots fills a jar with ejaculate and sets it atop the stack to burn.

    Urban Dictionary: ookie cookie

I read about the jar and I thought of this. I heard about this form of hazing and I decided that any organization that required me to participate in this was definitely not for me.

    Re: Aggie Mason Jar Thread

I always thought Mason Jars were best used to store and age human methane of the gaseous variety. On those really bad smelling days, one can bring the mason jar with him/her into the bath tub. Fill the Mason Jar with water and turn it upside down. When flatulence occurs, the jar is placed near the crack of the butt so the gas finds its way into the jar, displacing the water. Once all the water in the jar has been displaced by gas, the jar is sealed in the water, not to be opened until it is properly aged. When older or younger brother has utterly annoyed the crap out of the subject, the aged gas is then released upon the sibling as punishment.

Heard they like the transparent mason jars the best. They can reuse them for canning.

    Are there any other kind?

This may be the single most disgusting thing I have ever heard of in my semi-sheltered life. What the hell is wrong with people?
