    How many true freshmen played?

It didn't seem like we had a that many which bodes well in my mind for future depth. If they didn't play last night with all of the suspensions, injuries, ejection, I wouldn't expect them to be called upon.

Our qb looked like a freshman the first quarter.

He also looked like a stud in the 4th. When we needed it.

Anyone else see Ace Sanders return a punt for a TD for South Carolina? He played quite a bit.

Ace was being (heavily?) recruited to ISU

Miller played on kickoff return, opposite TE Reid Branderhorst just in front of the two returners. He blocked well, stood his man up every time that I saw.

You could look at this another way, too, and that would be that they are physically not close to ready to contribute, so putting them in would be a waste.

Either that, or they simply didn't know the offense/defense well enough yet to play in a tight game. I wouldn't be surprised to see just about anyone show up on the participation reports over the next few games.

    Paul Rhoads' players never quit.
    (They just disappear offseason)
