    Barkley Hill Rolls

Cedar Falls & Barkley Hill have a big first game against Hempstead. The Mustangs are usually a pretty solid team.

Link to article from Waterloo paper.

No. 1 Tigers cruise past Hempstead, 49-3

This guy appears to be the prototypical Iowa back. We got a good one here I think.

Cedar Falls really should roll to a Class 4A state championship this year.

Dubuque hempstead is pretty routinely one of the most terrible teams in the state.

They're going to have some tough competition.

We have the honor of playing DM North this week. That's gonna be ugly really quick.

You are definitely wrong. I wouldn't call a team that has gone to state in 4A the last 3 years a terrible team.

    Re: Barkley Hill Rolls

off topic, but do they still do the 35 point continuous clock? Does it have to be in the 2nd half?

I think they should run continuous clock only in the 2nd half. There is no reason a school can't play ONE half of football. Heck, most of the kids only get 9 games to play all year.

He's gonna be a stud. I think he's probably the best back we've had come in for awhile.

He doesn't have blazing speed, but you don't have to.

I've seen him play twice and he has a good little wiggle without giving up speed.

When we played Ames we went up by 38 in the 2nd half and had continuous clock. You can get it in the first half.

The question is who does he take carries from? RB is hands down our deepest position and all of them are sophs or younger this year. Carries are going to be tough to get for the next 3 or 4 years.

    Re: Barkley Hill Rolls

Im a little worried about him on signing day. I live in Cedar Falls and have heard rumblings that when the big boys come calling this year that he wont stay committed. I am not a doomsday guy at all but he concerns me. I would love to have him though. I guess its better that he has signedwith us rather than someone else at this point in the game.
