    Cedar Falls & Barkley Hill have a big first game against Hempstead. The Mustangs are usually a pretty solid team.

    off topic, but do they still do the 35 point continuous clock? Does it have to be in the 2nd half?

    I think they should run continuous clock only in the 2nd half. There is no reason a school can't play ONE half of football. Heck, most of the kids only get 9 games to play all year.

    He's gonna be a stud. I think he's probably the best back we've had come in for awhile.

    He doesn't have blazing speed, but you don't have to.

    I've seen him play twice and he has a good little wiggle without giving up speed.

    When we played Ames we went up by 38 in the 2nd half and had continuous clock. You can get it in the first half.

    The question is who does he take carries from? RB is hands down our deepest position and all of them are sophs or younger this year. Carries are going to be tough to get for the next 3 or 4 years.

    Im a little worried about him on signing day. I live in Cedar Falls and have heard rumblings that when the big boys come calling this year that he wont stay committed. I am not a doomsday guy at all but he concerns me. I would love to have him though. I guess its better that he has signedwith us rather than someone else at this point in the game.
