Latitude for Android (AKA big brother)

Anyone else use this? I have some of my friends tagged and it really does come in handy to know where everyone is at. I wish Google would buy foursquare and incorporate it into Latitude.

I like it. Except that now my wife knows everytime I sneak to the drive-up at McDonald's. Which is a lot.

See I'd say something like I'm working late but the Latitude shows that I'm at the London Underground drinking Guinness.

Me & my roommates use it, I think it's fun.

It can be creepy sometimes though when they text me saying "what are you doing at ____"

This is a technology the military needs to be using for every troop that is deployed. Would have come in handy a couple of times on this last deployment.

Re: Latitude for Android (AKA big brother)

I am just going to call/text the people that I want to know where I am at, and call/text the people I want to know where they are at.

    If that makes any sense..

I went to college thinking I wanted a career; turns out I just wanted paychecks.

A clear conscience is usually the sign of a bad memory.

That makes sense if you like to text. I like just looking at a map and seeing where people are located. For example, last week some of my friends were in Chicago. I could see when they were at Wrigley, where they were drinking, etc.

I like it, as my GF travels about an hour to classes through a canyon so I puts me at ease.

I have it but I don't have any friends so my map is always blank.

Texting works, not some crazy texting fanatic but it works. I just am not sure I care if they are at the local Walmart etc.

I could see where this would be handy as many people are not looking at their phones (too busy playing games and drinking/socializing). How accurate is it actually? 10 ft? 50 ft?
