    MBB offseason workout program

Must have worked. Quite a few guys gained at least 10 pounds.

    W. Johnson - 195 to 210
    Rahshon Clark - 200 to 210
    C. Johnson - 230 to 240
    Jiri Hubalek - 225 to 235
Thompson - 215 to 250! Get ready for the big fella!

New guys - (weights from Rivals)

    Brackins - 220 to 230
    Garrett - 170 to 180
    Vette - 245 to 250
    Boozer - 190 to 195
    Staiger - 215 to 220
Haluska - 195 to 200 (according to IHCC website)

Thompson was listed at 215 in last year's prospectus - great work out of him in the offseason. I really expect him to be a contributor this year.

I don't know if this will translate to a whole lot more wins, but I think we'll get an idea of what kind of team McD wants in the future this year.

that 15 lbs will suit Wesley Johnson very well.

    Re: MBB offseason workout program

I've heard good things about Thompson and how he's been working out but I thought he was still only up to 240ish, that's great to see the extra 10.

A program isn't built on one player and it doesn't succeed because of one player, thus a program won't fail if it doesn't get that one player.

Brister had no change but he probably tightened it up a little bit.
Not sure about Peterson and Haluska since they aren't in the Rivals database.

hopefully it has worked better than the football workouts which sounded good but obviously haven't translated to performance...or maybe they have and we would have been...gasp...worse??

That's why I threw in the "I don't know if it will translate to more wins" line.

I don't think it's going to hurt us. We need to be bigger and more physical.
