Ferentz has been where Chizik now stands

Kind of an interesting article on being in the first year of a new coaching regime from the Iowa City paper.

good article. wonder how many hawk fans actually knew that KF started out so poorly? Also seem to be hearing a lot of the same things that this article calls out about KF's early years. Teaching, excitement, etc.

Re: Ferentz has been where Chizik now stands

Excellent article and provides an insight into how the players can handle the current situation, I loved the line by Bowen that said "A class would have to make sacrifices for the betterment of the program". What a classy and unusual statement to come from anyone associate to the Iowa City team.

This is the second very good article i've seen posted through the Hawk Central board about the state of ISU and it actually sheds a strand of light on our future rather then shuffling us off as a misfit.....Finally Journalists that are doing their job, reporting with an unbiased opinion on something - if we wanted your biased opinion move it to the editorial section of the sports, not the headlines!!!!

Not many. Here at my work they are doing this deal in the cafe downstairs where the employees are wearing either Hawk or Cyclone gear. I asked the lady who was checking me out (wearing a Hawk shirt) what she thought of the fact that their head coach was the 3rd highest paid coach in the country and that he only won 6 games last year. Her response: "What is the coach's name again? Is it Hayden something?"
