Paul Clark article on Big 12

Some pretty bold commentary/predictions by Clark.

I would be a lot more impressed if he would have penned that a year ago. he has the benefit of hindsight.

Excellent article. Even though I left CycloneReport.com and came here once they started charging a membership fee I've always had a lot of respect for Paul Clark and what he does with that site.

Interesting contrast (in many regards) to Ubben's puff piece on Beebe from a few months ago.

Same tone as when he wrote this: "foot-in-mouth" piece. Which, with hindsight, is very foolish indeed. One National Championship later = "Good luck Auburn" my ***!!

Paul Clark needs to get out of this business. I can't imagine spending your entire professional career covering something you're so perpetually pessimistic about.

Lose teams to Pac Ten, Big Ten, and SEC. Who's next? ACC take a team? MWC?

Your boy Jizzik is a cheater. Already convicted once. More to come. He was imasculated by NCAA rep when he tried to get tough with her at SEC meeting. Investigation is on going. Auburn will be 0-12 in 2010 before it's over. ALL IN!

Re: Paul Clark article on Big 12

I agree with Clarkee on one thing....the ten team model is the best and always will be but, having said that and seeing that the Univ of Texas-Univ of Oklahoma tandem dont really have any place BETTER to go, I think that the 9 or 10 team (think BYU folks) will be around a lot longer than what paul clark wants to admit.

Re: Paul Clark article on Big 12

gotta agree with rebecacy on this one. Paul's articles, while well written, are just dripping with hindsight. Anyone can say "I told you so" after the fact, but where was Paul's voice when the events were actually going down? I'm not going to question whether or not he actually felt the way he claims to have, but if he did and said nothing, well, that's pretty disingenuous and cowardly. If anyone has been "imasculated" (lol) it's Paul, for showing us all that he doesn't have the balls to speak his mind until after the fact.
