    Nobody else wants out, right?

Seems like we've known for a while that A&M had wanted out. The only school I can think of is Missouri. Oklahoma/Oklahoma State perhaps if something major happened, but can we please focus on adding teams now instead of watching schools go?

Missouri wants out but nobody wants them. Hell, if someone like the big 10 wanted us we'd want out too.

OU (and thus OSU\TTU) may be out if we cant get a suitable replacement for TAMU.

I'm surprised that Mizzou isn't more attractive to the Big 10. They bring 2 pretty decent size TV markets and 6 million people in the state. They have underachieved in athletics, no doubt, but they have a lot of untapped potential.

All 9 are committed assuming we can lure a strong 10th team. May even go to 12 teams if everyone agrees. If not, OU heads west to the PAC and then all hell breaks loose and ISU ends up in some hodge podge hybrid BEAST/B12/ACC conference.

Nobody wants out until they get a better deal.

Re: Nobody else wants out, right?

Here is a question no one has asked. How many votes are required by PAC 12 members to allow expansion? CU fans are saying that they, Utah, ASU and Arizona are all against adding more teams. They don't want to be in a division where they do play either UCLA or USC each year. So if it requires 9 votes, then PAC 12 expansion could get killed right there. I think the only thing that could change their minds is Texas and we all know that isn't happening now with the LHN.

Re: Nobody else wants out, right?

Missouri still prays every night for a Big Ten offer. The problem is if the Big Ten expands they're definitely going east. Missouri could sneak in if the Big Ten took three schools from out east and needed a 16th member. They do have a couple things going for them in that they do bring some TV markets and geographically fit in well

Not sure on the big 10 and missouri. At first I thought academics had at least some weight, but after bringing in Nebraska I think it is anything that makes money is ok.

BINGO! Great point and it proves what I have been saying that the Big 12, although a great conference in terms of winning titles, etc. has never been all that stable from the get go. Missouri wants out and would bolt if SEC or Big Ten ever came calling. OU was ready to bolt to the SEC last year before the league was saved so you know they aren't THAT happy.

I think the conference is sadly dying a slow death. Unless something big happens like Notre Dame joins, I don't see the Big 12 around a long time.

Re: Nobody else wants out, right?

I hope we can get back to 12 teams. Get back to having a championship game with 2 split divisions. Get in the oppositive division as Texas/OU and have a legitimate shot to play in the Big 12 championship.
