Great guy and I appreciate all he's done for ISU. I really hope he makes the Vikings!

Never argue with an idiot. They will bring you down to their level and then beat you with experience.

Love that guy! I think he can make it in the NFL. He works hard and would be an asset for the practice team and then move up. Kind of like a Rod Smith move. Not that I am saying he is going to have type of career, but a move like that.

Good luck A-Rob. Funny how the reporter couldn't remember which Iowa team he played for.

Vikings don't really have a 3rd down back right now. Hopefully A-Rob can fill a Chester Taylor type role and get a spot on the team.

The "shout out to Iowa" statement could also be taken as giving a shout out to the state of Iowa. I am giving the reporter the benefit of the doubt to save his credibility...and so he might interview A-Rob again.

With Adrian Peterson away, running backs will play » Sports » The Free Press, Mankato, MN

"Gerhart has been the primary ball carrier in Peterson’s absence and Lorenzo Booker, who joined the team late last season, has been No. 2. The other player who has been getting a lot of looks is Alexander Robinson, an undrafted free agent out of Iowa State."

Is Albert Young still there? I was a fan of his at Iowa but I think A-Rob is better.

While on live TV, Ford used a vulgar term to describe a private part of the female anatomy, adding that he was “happily married” and “got more than enough to eat at home.”

He's not listed on the current Viking's roster.

The "reporter" is actually a friend of mine who is from Marion. I feel that he had probably told A-Rob where he was from before the interview and asking him if he wanted to send a shout out to the whole state since hes just up in Minnesota

Re: Short A-Rob interview at Vikings camp.

I think A-Rob has a decent chance of making this team. One of his biggest attributes is that he was a smart player and was an asset in pass blocking. He was very astute at blitz recognition and pass-blocking assignments. This attribute alone will make him great as a utility and 3rd-down specialist.

It'll be interesting. Booker is a likely kick returner. Can he also give them what they want as a RB, or will they carry 4 guys. I don't know Booker that well, but I"m pretty sure he's faster. I'd have to imagine ARob has his strengths as picking up the blitz and as a receiver out of the backfield.

Re: Short A-Rob interview at Vikings camp.

I think he will make the team as the fourth running back or will get signed to the practice squad. Of course, this will all depend on how well he does throughout training camp and the pre season. I will be rooting for him.
