    ISU over/under set at 3?

According to Ken Miller. This was per Jon Miller's site. He cited Ken and Las Vegas Sports Consultants and as it stands they say we look like a three win team. I really don't know what to think about that. Either they are way underestimating us or they know something we don't. I can see a lot of people taking the over on this, and winning easily.

    Yeah TOAST!!!

Pretty sure they said we would only get three wins last year...

3 or 3.5? The difference is huge.

Either way, I'd feel confident taking the over.

I'd bet a decent amount of money on the over.

Over, we got a few winnable games on the schedule and you have to bet we will upset someone along the way.

Holy crap!!! Really? I am an Iowa fan and for the most part Iowa most always wins more than three games and I would still never bet everything I had, everything I have and everything I ever will have. You Sir are a gambler.

I'd take the over. That's an easy one.

Since we are an elite team now, let's go get that One Cyclone Moment.
Make this one for the ages!

Re: ISU over/under set at 3?

I told my buddies that I would only do the O/U if it was 2.5. Way too many unknowns for this team. I would say one for sure win is UNI with the current QB situation. KU is about a 90% chance of a win depending on how the QB situation turns out. Many of you think this is easy, I do not. If Arnaud was back with this team I would say 7-8 wins, since there are QB question marks I would be hesitant to put any money on the O/U. This team could win 1 or 7. UCONN does not bode well for ISU on a short week after a rivalry game halfway across the country. Baylor and KSU are on the road. I do not like how this sets up right now. If an average QB emerges (Tiller is not that level based on what we have seen) ISU could be bowling.

I'm betting on the OVER because we will win at least 4 games this season...

Re: ISU over/under set at 3?

It's all on the QB and Tom Herman's shoulders IMO.

If our offense is as bad this year as it has been under Tom Herman so far, I'd say 3 games might be about right? Our offense has been next to non-existent. And going into the year without a sure fire starting QB scares me even more.

If we put up the kind of numbers that Rice did under Herman, than we can win 7 or more games IMO. But if we do what we have been doing lately, it could be ugly folks.

Might as well make it 13. I mean, that is the number of games they will be playing in.

You can consider Tiller average. He may not produce as much as the average quarterback but he eliminates his mistakes more than the average quarterback. Whoever ends up being the quarterback will do fine. It's not like the quarterbacks competing for a starting spot just came form pee-wee league. No reason not to be atleast slightly optimistic just becasue there isn't a starter yet.
